Daily Deviation

Given 2003-01-29
Deviant City Second Camera by deathbrain is a wonderfully produced 3D scene of a futuristic city. The deviant's high attention to detail and obvious skill are clear and present in this piece, it really is a jaw dropper! (Selected by +ekud) ( Featured by ekud )

really cool, but rather than regurgetate all the good that's allready been said, I'll point out some thigns that are bothering me, apart from all the cars being the same, why are there parked cars with lights on? and they don't seem to be parked in realistic locations, don't think there are enough of them either.
The walkways don't have rails when the lights are there, wouldn't that be dangerous =P (Razz)
umm, also how do people actually get on the trains? and lastly, why aren't there any cars or trains or submarines on that big bridge in the foreground?

hehe, well sorry to put such a downer on this pic, I do like it, but it's those little things, I don't know if anybody already pointed these out.

WHOA, Jawdrop
great wallpaper.

1) The asphalt on the ground directly under the train looks a bit odd.
2) Is that the SYdney Harbour bridge?
3) Peoples!

excellent Jawdrop

I found 2 small flaws / problem... call it what u may...
The tail lights of the parked cars should not be so intense red... possibly they should not even show any red...
The light at the top of the buildings should not be as intense as at the bottom of the building...

I hope that helps....

I like this just the same.... u have skills cyber buddy !

WOW....BLOODY MARVELOUS.

Graeeat lighting/colours etc, can't fault it. One minor criticism though, The rear car in the bottom left corner should be turned slightly 'cause its comimg from a round a bend. Very minor point though.

Keep up the good work

Very nice, I particularly like the monorail. You may want to consider adding some sidewalks along the monorail side of the lower road, just to give it some definition. You might also try a different texture on one of the sandstone colored buildings, just for something different. All in all, though, it looks quite good, and very realistic. Maybe adding a few signs and people silohettes (sp?) would help, but I've got no complaints. This one is going in my favorites!

holy shit d00d...this is just incredible...the angle is prolly one of the greatest 'small' touches you could've added in this shot...it makes it look as though it's being shot out of a helicopter...incredible piece right hurr...

It matters not that 100 some people have commented, this is a great piece of work. The lighting is superb, though my favorite part is construction of the buildings They are so characteristic and realistic I must gawk. Excellent job.

yeah, that is very kewl and i agree with all above. but one thing, i noticed that at least 2 of the buildings were re-used. which is fine cuz ONE can take a while, but maybe if you randomized the lights a lil on one of them (dead give-a-way)..i guess i noticed that right off the bat. no biggie though. i can appreciate all the tyme and effort in this. wow! great work.
